G’Day
Michael and Loretta are both from Sydney, Australia. They were married in Lake Garda, Italy on 5th July 2006. While they were honeymooning in Europe they came to Spain and looked at the possibility of buying a bar and turning it into an AUSSIE BAR. Once they had found the one they were looking for, they returned to Sydney to start packing up their belongings and heading back to Spain to start the next adventure in their lives.
The Kangaroo Bar was opened on 1st October 2006 in La Carihuela, Torremolinos, Spain. Since opening the bar they have also added to the staff by having a little Spanish baby boy called Reyes (means ’King’ in Spanish) on 15th May 2007. It won’t be long before he is telling them what to do!
In such a short space of time they have already had several return customers from many parts of the world. Some people like ‘The Durhams’, and Pat and Arnie from Bolton have been back on over 7 different holidays. They have met so many wonderful customers who have become friends and often stay in touch via email to let them know when they will be back again.
The Kangaroo Bar has had some great nights, and has celebrated many wonderful times, such as Aussie New Years Eve at 2pm Spain time!. Australia Day, Anzac Day, One year birthday of the bar and suprise birthdays for Customers.
Michael, Loretta and Reyes look forward to seeing many new and old customers through out the year.
