I spent a week visiting the Kangaroo bar in September 08. A visit to this bar is a must if you are in the area as I found the food, drinks and service one of the best during my travels all over spain. Michael and Loretta made me feel more than welcome each day I visited them and the kangaroo steaks were something to make any aussie proud! Id like to thank Michael and Loretta once again for there fine company during my stay and for making my trip that much more worthwhile... Cheers guys x

First went to the Kangaroo Bar in October 2006 the week after mick opened.My first impression of mick was that he was as mad as a hatter which after several visits later i still have that impression.What a really nice genuine guy and a lovely wife and son.Always a warm welcome and the Kangaroo steak is a highlight of the holiday.Will be back on May 3rd for 2 weeks and looking forward to seeing you all again.Cracking website by the way.

Just returned to a cold and wet Durham.Had a great time as usual.Mick and Loretta made us very welcome as always and we had a great time at Reyes's birthday party.Wish the holidays could last longer.Had the usual delicious kangaroo steak cooked to perfection and also sampled the most delicious steak pie with mushy peas.Yummy.Hope to return as soon as possible

Hey Guys

We had alot of fun hanging out at the bar. We travelled all thru Europe before we finally found a great place being the Kangaroo Bar to drink, eat & just hang out with the owners who are easy to get along with & good fun. I rate the Kangaroo steak high in taste & value for $. Anita loved the Perth Passion cocktails, probably because they are are so potent. Love the Sangria too. I can rate your Aussie Burger as I tried the big burgers down the road at another popular bar but your Aussie Burger kicks ass for taste & chips.

There is a local guy I noticed who comes in from time to time for a beer & some darts, I think he's a Mexican or something but he makes me laugh & is also handy with the darts. Seriously though, Tab is good value & we wish him best luck for upcoming tournaments.

Will go back next time we're in town as I know the beer is always cold.
